Sensor Deployment
Automate Falcon sensor deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management across your infrastructure. Use configuration management tools to install sensors at scale, or deployment scripts for direct installation across Linux, macOS, and Windows endpoints.
Configuration Management
Section titled “Configuration Management”Declarative tools that define sensor state as code. Manage installation, configuration, and lifecycle across your fleet using repeatable, version-controlled manifests.
Ansible Deploy, configure, and manage the Falcon sensor across Linux, macOS, and Windows using Ansible roles, modules, and event-driven automation.
Chef Install, configure, and manage the Falcon sensor service across Linux distributions using Chef resources.
Puppet Install, configure, and manage the Falcon sensor across Linux, macOS, and Windows using Puppet classes.
Deployment Scripts
Section titled “Deployment Scripts”Community-maintained scripts for direct Falcon sensor deployment without a configuration management tool. These scripts handle sensor installation, removal, and CID migration across Linux and Windows platforms, as well as container sensor deployment via systemd services.
Bash (Linux)
Section titled “Bash (Linux)” Install / Uninstall Install or remove the Falcon sensor on Linux systems using the CrowdStrike API for package download.
Migrate Migrate the Falcon sensor from one CID to another on Linux systems.
Container Sensor Pull Pull, copy, and manage Falcon container sensor images from the official registry.
